Editing Photos - Feature Spread
I have decided that use this image as the introductery image for my feature spread. The reason for this is because I feel it is a very well done photograph and is a very strong image. Additionally, due to way I have taken this photo, leaving the left side wall blank, it is perfect for text to be added. After deciding to use this image, I decided to used different edits on the photo in which to enhance the photo itself. The first image is the orginial.
If I'm honest, I didn't want to massivly edit the photo as I felt it was a pretty goopd photo on its own. However, I did feel that a certain type of editing would make the photo better. After using different tools on photoshop, I came across craquelure, an edit on the texture section of layering. I really like the way it re-enforced the shadow of Euan and textured the photo making it look as I feel, intersting.
Photos
When taking photos for my magazine front cover, content page and double page spread I decided that I wanted a simillar theme of photos to be used, usuing the same people, same costume, same areas, etc.
I decided to take a large vary of photos using different camera angles, lighting, backgrounds, props so that I would have a choice of which ones I felt would suit each breif the best.
